Le Petit Train initiative
By Jeff Hathaway

Agreement between the Parish, and the Le Petit Train operator has resulted in the Petit Train now being able to stop directly in front of the Parish Hall. The move is hoped to encourage more people to use the service and thereby further reduce the number of people bringing their cars into St. Aubin.
Le Petit Train director Gordon Forrest told La Baguette: “The service is primarily designed for holidaymakers. We are pleased that it is having a positive effect in alleviating the parking situation in the village. We are currently exploring the possibility that some village businesses can issue our tickets direct to their clientelle.” He added “Currently there are no services after 6.00pm due to safety issues resulting from previous abuses of our evening operations ”.
